This is an MC Sailing Association (MCSA) sanctioned event.
It is open to skippers of MC scows who are current members of MCSA and 50 years of age on or before the first scheduled race.

All yachts must comply with the MC class scantlings prior to the preparatory signal of the first scheduled race. A

  • Grand Master - 60 - 69 years
  • Mega Master - 70 -79 years
  • Old Salt - 80 years or older

If seven races are completed, each boat shall discard her worst score except when prohibited under RRS 90.3(b).

Seven races are scheduled. Three (3) completed races shall constitute a regatta for awarding Perpetual Trophies. Keeper trophies will be awarded if at least one (1) race has been completed. Awards will be based on her finishes in the overall fleet.
